What is Therapeutic Sound Massage?
Therapeutic Sound Massage is a gentle yet deeply restorative experience that uses the SoundBody Method™ with Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls. Specially designed singing bowls are placed on and around the fully clothed body and softly activated with a felt mallet, creating rich, layered tones and subtle vibrations that are both heard and felt throughout the body.
Unlike a traditional sound bath, where sound is experienced primarily through listening, Therapeutic Sound Massage allows the vibrations to travel gently through the body's tissues, creating a unique sensory experience that supports relaxation and overall well-being.
How Does It Work?
The SoundBody Method™ is based on the understanding that the human body naturally responds to vibration, rhythm, and sound.
During your session, harmonically tuned Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are placed on specific areas of the body and around your energy field in a structured sequence. As each bowl is gently played, soothing vibrations flow through the body's tissues.
Because the human body is made up largely of water, these gentle vibrations are experienced throughout the body, encouraging the nervous system to shift from a state of stress toward deep rest and relaxation. After the sound work, a period of quiet integration allows your body and mind to absorb the experience before returning to your day.

Candice is trained in the SoundBody Method™ using Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls through Gina L. Armstrong, owner of Balance on Buffalo and Sound Space USA in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Gina is the former head of the Peter Hess Academy USA and has more than 13 years of experience teaching sound- and vibration-based wellness methods.
